This page links to pages devoted to each technology that you migh use in creating web systems. These pages contain what I have found to be the best technical and non-technical information for understanding and using web technologies. • http://www.codeproject.com/ - Code Project is probably my most heavily used resource. It contains hundreds of articles and examples of real projects in all aspects web programming. It is a .NET site with .NET code in all VS languages.

Geolocation Pages (for CET 4584 Assignments)

• http://www.hostip.info/index.html - This interesting project has an extensive and  accessible database, and allows users to help build the database. It is also free and relatively easy to use. (Courtesy Jonathan O'Brien).

• http://ws.fraudlabs.com/ip2locationwebservice.asmx - Not free, but an example ASMX file for those using .NET

• http://www.showmyip.com/lookups/ - A very straightforward service for IP to Zip code lookup.

• http://developer.yahoo.com/maps/rest/V1/geocode.html - Yahoo free web service for Geocoding

• http://www.strikeiron.com/ProductDetail.aspx?p=396 - SrikeIron web service to look up an address and location from a given IP Address

• http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm?Getlocation - GeoBytes free IP address to location web service page.

• http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/  - You'll need this to see the Google Maps API.

• http://phpweby.com/services/iplocation - This is a free service.

• http://developer.yahoo.com/maps/rest/V1/geocode.html - also a free service, but does not have IP to location capabilities.
